The first SHIBUYA plunger was released in 1979. since then, it has undergone several model changes, and employed improved materials as well as manufacturing techniques, in order to fit the needs we identified in over 40 years of building plungers. As a result, it’s no exaggeration to say that the smoothness of the tip movement of the SHIBUYA DX PLUNGER is absolutely second to none.
Many higher-end plungers include a click-adjustment mechanism, however the DX PLUNGER’s screw locked mechanism ensures that the adjustment, once made, will never change. Even when taking the plunger apart for maintenance, it can be put back together and achieve the same settings without the need of re-tuning it, making it popular with beginners and mid-level archers. However, since the smoothness of the plunger motion is crucial to arrow flight consistency, even high level archers rely on this plunger.
